Jorh daye jo taar dilan de duniyan da samjho kartar;
Ehde sadke duniyan jeeve duniyan da samjho datar.
Ehde man vich sabh di chinta eh karda rakhwali ey;
Ese ton mang khawan sare koi na janda khali ey.
Man mere kar yaad es di jehrha ik lafani ey;
Aape aap hai karta dharta zaat jihdi lasani ey.
Mehar ehdi na hove jekar banda nahin kujh kar sakda;
Lakkhan zor laga laye bhaven kamm nahin koi sar sakda.
Bajh hari ton hai man mere kamm na kujh vi aavega;
Kahe avtar charan gur parse oho mukti pavega.

He who links the heart with God, take him as the creator of the world;
The world lives by his grace, take him as the benevolent lord of the world.
He cares for all and he protects everybody;
All beg and eat from him and none goes empty handed.
O’ my mind, remember him who is imperihable;
He is all-powerful and his entity is unique.
Without his kind grace, man cannot do anything;
Nothing can be accomplished even if one makes countless efforts.
O’ my mind, nothing except God will come to your rescue;
Avtar says, the one who humbly bows at the holy feet of the True Master shall attain salvation.
